Day 1
REACH SRINAGAR | WELCOME TO THE PARADISE ON EARTH
Meet the local Sahapathika representative at a pre-determined place in Srinagar. Get into your waiting car and move towards your pre-booked hotel. Complete the check-in procedures and unwind for a while. If time permits proceed to Local Lal Chowkh and spend sometime in the main market of Srinagar. Return back to Hotel for Dinner and a comfortable stay overnight. Night in Srinagar Hotel.

Day 2
EXCURSION TO SONAMARG | EXPLORE THE MEADOW OF GOLD (80KM, ONE WAY)
After breakfast, depart for Sonmarg for a full day tour (Meadow of Gold). The Sind valley’s splendour may be appreciated along the journey. Sonmarg is located at an elevation of 2690 metres above sea level. The strong Indus River has chiselled the blossoming Valley over the centuries. From here, major trekking routes begin. On the outskirts of Sonmarg are two lakes: Gadsar and Satsar. Sonmarg is a sight to behold. The heavily-metalled road winds its way through enormous mountains densely forested with firs and woods. Arrive at Sonmarg and hire a local taxi or pony ride to explore the Thajiwas Glacier, which is covered with snow all year. Return to Srinagar in the late afternoon. Dinner and stay in Srinagar Hotel.

Day 3
SRINAGAR – GULMARG- NIGHT STAY (50km, 2 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Gulmarg (Flower Meadow), which is located at an elevation of 8,800 feet above sea level. Gulmarg, built out like a doll’s hamlet, used to be a favourite hunting ground of the British in the summer, and you will discover old fashion hotels and businesses in the village. Gulmarg is home to the world’s highest 18-hole golf course, as well as an SKI resort in the winter. Arrive and be transferred to your hotel for the remainder of the day.

Day 4 GULMARG
You have the rest of the day to yourself after breakfast. Gulmarg Activities are available on this day (at own cost 7 pre booked). Take a Gondola (Cable Car) ride, which is a popular tourist attraction. The Asia’s highest and longest cable car (reservation ahead of time is suggested). It is a ropeway with two stages. Gulmarg to Kongdoori Station is the first stage of the journey. Skiers reach a height of 3,747 metres on the second stage (12,293 ft). The gondola operates from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (weather permitting). Return in the afternoon for a pony ride and a stroll around the region OR head to Khilanmarg (a neighbouring picnic place) for a fragrant valley full of colour and charm. Dinner and Night stay in Gulmarg.

Day 5
FROM GULMARG TO PAHALGAM (130 KM)
Drive to Pahalgam in the morning after breakfast (Valley of Shepherds). En route, stop in Pampore to see the saffron fields, then continue on to the cricket bat factory and apple orchid gardens. Pahalgam is a beautiful tourist town on the banks of the Lidder and Sheshnag rivers. It serves as the starting point for various regional hikes as well as the annual pilgrimage to Amarnath’s Holy Cave Shrine. The surroundings are suitable for relaxation and recreation in the traditional hill resort style. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Relax once you’ve checked into your accommodation.

Day 6
PAHALGAM
After breakfast, go over to the Aru Valley. The Aru Valley is known for its magnificent meadows. It is well-known among tourists for its tranquil atmosphere and beautiful splendour. Trekkers to the Kolahoi Glacier use the town as a base camp. After that, make your way to Betaab Valley. The name of the valley comes from the film Betaab. The valley is surrounded by deep woodland, lovely green meadows, and Snow Mountain. Later, travel to Chandanwari, the Amarnath yatra’s base camp.The rest of the day is yours to do whatever you choose. Spend some time on Pahalgam’s famed Mall Road. Night at Pahalgam.

Day 7
PAHALGAM- SRINAGAR HOUSEBOAT (95 km, 2 hrs, 30min)
Drive to Srinagar after breakfast. Arrive in Srinagar and conduct a local sightseeing tour. Visit the famed Mughal Gardens and the Shankar Acharya Temple. Nishat (Pleasure Garden) overlooking the Dal Lake’s stunningly brilliant emerald green waters, then on to Shalimar ( Garden of Love ). Each one is more lovely than the one before it. You’ll wander through terraced flower beds, past marble pavilions and fountains, and beyond snow-capped Himalayan peaks and Cheshmaashahi (Royal Spring.) In the evening, take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake and tour the floating gardens, lotus gardens, vegetable gardens, and the lake’s backwater. The cruise will travel along canals. Stay in a houseboat for a romantic candlelight dinner and an overnight stay.

Our driver will take you to the Shikara wala, who will take you on a mesmerising dal lake shikara ride. You should absolutely request that he take you to Char Chinar and Kabootar ghar, which are located on a small island in the middle of Dal Lake. Check into your houseboat for the night and unwind with a great dinner.
Day 8
SAY GOODBYE TO THE HEAVEN ON EARTH TIME FOR A FRESH START
Satiate yourself with breakfast and bliss memories of Kashmir. Proceed for some shopping in Srinagar. Later we will drive you back to your departure port. We bid adieu to you and wish you had a wonderful journey. You return back with unlimited memories from Sahapathika……..
