    Day 1

    ARRIVE IN COCHIN
    Arrive at Cochin Airport or Railway Station, where you will be met by our Sahapathika representative/driver and driven to your accommodation after a brief introduction.

    You can go sightseeing in Cochin in the afternoon. The oldest church in India, St Francis Church, 500-year-old Portuguese houses, Chinese fishing nets, 16th-century Synagogue, Jew Town, and Matancherry Palace, erected by the Portuguese, include some of India’s most stunning murals. Go shopping in the evening. Stay in Cochin for the night.

    Day 2

    DRIVE COCHIN – MUNNAR (130 KMS – 4 HRS)
    After a lovely breakfast, check out and drive to Munnar, popularly known as the Kashmir of the South. En route, take in Kerala’s breathtaking grandeur and magnificent waterfalls, as well as the high mountains and low-flying clouds that pass by. Thick woodlands and tea estates cover the entire area. Munnar is known for its jungle honey, tea, and a rare flower known as ‘Neela Kurunji,’ which blooms just once every 12 years. Visit the Cheeyappara Waterfalls in the middle, which is one of the region’s most scenic and well–known tourist spots. The water cascades down in seven steps, making for a lovely spectacle.
    You will be followed to the hotel to check-in and relax for a moment in the comforts of your room after a day of excitement.

    MUNNAR
    After breakfast, continue sightseeing to the Rajamalai, Munnar’s highest mountain, where you can witness exquisite mist-kissing romantic Green Meadows, Mind-Blowing Hills sleeping under Green Carpet (Tea Gardens), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Kundala Lake, and Mattupetty Dam. Enjoy lake boating and tea plantations. After that, head to the local market, where you can wander around the city, shop, and experience the local market.
    After that, proceed for lovely dinner and an overnight stay at the Munnar Hotel/Resort.

    Day 4

    MUNNAR- THEKKADY (100km, 3 hrs)
    After a great breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive through the cardamom hills to Thekkady. Check into the Resort and unwind in the luxury of your accommodation for a bit. Visit spice plantations such as cardamom, pepper, coffee, and tea estates after lunch. You may stop at the local market on your way back to the hotel to pick up some fragrant spices.
    If you enjoy animals, Thekkady is the place to visit. It has become one of India’s largest wildlife sanctuaries thanks to its deep jungles and lush flora. One of the Great Indian Tigers lives at the Periyar Tiger Reserve. If you’re lucky, you could catch a glimpse of one stopping by a lake for a drink of water.

    THEKKADY ALLEPPEY (140 km, 3 hrs)
    Before being transported to Alleppey, popularly known as Alappuzha, have breakfast. Alleppey takes its name from two words: Ala (wide) and Puzha (puzzle) (river). Alleppey is a lovely town with canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons. Lord Curzon dubbed it the “Venice of the East” because of its canals, backwaters, beaches, and lagoons.
    In Alleppey, you may enjoy the best of Kerala’s backwaters, which are a vast network of enormous lakes connected by canals and fed by rivers. The backwaters are formed by low barrier islands created by waves and coastal currents.
    As the intriguing life along the waterfront passes by, relax in the comfort of a floating suite and taste the flavors of Kerala offered on the sundeck.

    ALLEPPEY – KOVALAM (170 km, 4 hrs 30 min)
    After a fantastic south Indian breakfast in your houseboat this morning, get driven to Kovalam. Kovalam is a beach town on the Arabian Sea in Kerala, India, some 18 kilometres south of the city centre. It is part of the Thiruvananthapuram metropolitan area. In the native language, Kovalam refers to a coconut grove. However, in the early 1970s, Kovalam became well-known as a stopover for hippies on their route to Ceylon on the Hippie Trail. This departure marked the beginning of Kerala’s metamorphosis from a sleepy fishing village to one of the country’s most prominent tourist destinations.
    Three separate beaches are formed by protruding rocky outcrops and a prominent Lighthouse, which is named after one of the beaches. Before retiring to your resort hotel with a magnificent beach view from your window, watch the sun set over the ocean and take a lengthy walk through the white sands.

    Day 7

    KOVALAM TRIVANDRUM KOVALAM ( 18 km, 30 min)
    After breakfast, go for Thiruvananthapuram on a morning excursion. Thiruvananthapuram is the official capital of the state of Kerala. Visit the Padmanabhaswamy Temple, the city’s holiest site, but remember to dress respectfully by wearing a Dhoti for men and a saree or churidar for women.
    The next destination will be the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum, which literally means “Palace of Horses” and is named for the frieze of 122 wooden horses on the outside of the structure, is another renowned tourist site.
    The Napier Museum, which houses both art and natural history, is the next stop. It’s a museum dedicated to saracenic architecture. In 1855, the museum was founded. Robert Chisholm, the Madras Government’s consulting architect, designed the architectural marvel.
    If shopping is in your list then you can head to buy some Silk items, spices and lots of other items in the later half.
    Return to the hotel for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.
