The temple’s principal goddess, Goddess Durga, was imported from India. Aside from the serenity and tranquilly that pervades this area, the temple grounds provide a good view of the Himalaya on a clear day.  Because the temple is located near the old bazaar, a visit to the temple can be coupled with a visit to the old bazaar. Devi’s Fall, also known as Patale Chango, is a magnificent waterfall located 2 kilometers southwest of Pokhara. The waterfall takes on its true shape during the summer and rainy season, with flowing water splashing and making its way through the rocks.
