    Day 1

    Arrival In Colombo – Kandy | Welcome To The Teardrop Of India (Colombo to Kandy 125km, 4hrs)

    When you arrive at the Colombo airport, our local Sahapathika agent will meet you and transport you to Kandy. From Colombo to Kandy, take the picturesque 4 hour drive.

    Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage on the Colombo-Kandy Road, which is approximately 55 miles from Colombo. The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is not a zoo, but rather a larger and more intriguing institution. It serves as a breeding area for Asian elephants who have been left orphaned due to unforeseen events.

    Enjoy the warm welcome you receive when you arrive at your Kandy hotel and complete your check-in formalities before retiring to your room for some relaxation after a long travel. Upper Lake Drive offers a panoramic view of the gorgeous town in the evening.

    Climb those rocky steps and narrow metal staircases in the scorching sun as you arrive at the Sigiriya’s Rock Fortress. When you reach the top, take in the stunning 360-degree views of Sigiriya’s surrounding hills, forests, pastures, lakes, and monuments from a birds-eye perspective and realize that your climb was well worth it. Spend some time at the enormous Sigiriya’s Rock, which juts out from the verdant tropical jungle in the heart of Sri Lanka.

    Get up early in the morning, eat a good breakfast, and check out of the hotel to travel to Nuwara Eliya.

    Before heading to Nuwara Eliya, stop by the Bahiravokanda Vihara Buddha Monument, Sri Lanka’s largest Buddha statue, which is nestled among the hilltops above Kandy and offers a panoramic view of the city.

    Continue to the majestic golden-roofed Buddhist Temple in Kandy’s core, where you may see Buddha’s legendary tooth relic, which is housed in multiple golden cases encrusted with diamonds.

    Later, take a stroll around Kandy Lake, commonly known as the “Sea of Milk,” and unwind in the natural surroundings.

    The Spice Garden and Orchid House are major tourist attractions at the Royal Botanical Gardens, where you may see over 5,000 varieties of trees, plants, and creepers.After exploring Kandy, travel to Nuwara Eliya and take in the beautiful scenery along the way.

    Enjoy your tasty breakfast as you wake up among the green carpeted hills. After a sumptuous breakfast and check-out from your accommodation, travel to Bentota.

    On the way, stop by the Royal Botanical Garden, which is known for its orchid collection. There are over 300 different orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm palms to choose from.

    Visit the Hanuman Temple, which is said to be the first site Hanuman landed in Sri Lanka before embarking on his quest to find Goddess Sita.

    After that, visit Ramboda Falls, which is recognized for its stunning sceneries of hills, ridges, plains, streams, and mountainous ranges.

    Stop at Seetha Amman Kovil, a shrine devoted to Goddess Sita that is said to be the location where Goddess Sita was held after being captured by Lanka’s demon king Ravana.

    Proceed to Hakgala Botanical Gardens, which is home to a variety of exotic animals such as bears, monkeys, and birds.

    You can continue your journey to Bentota once you’ve finished touring Nuwara Eliya. When you arrive at your hotel in Bentota, you will be greeted with warm hospitality.     Excursion To Mirissa | See The World’s Biggest Animal.. (105 Km, 3 Hrs)

    Early in the morning, listen to the waves of the sea and take a deep breath of fresh air.

    Proceed to Mirissa after a sumptuous breakfast at your accommodation in Bentota.

    Visit the National Maritime Museum, the Dutch Reformed Church, the Galle Lighthouse, and the Meera Mosque along the way.
    After you’ve finished visiting Galle Fort, head to Mirissa.

    The Parrot Rock, a massive red-colored mound that towers over the water, can be seen as you approach the Mirissa beach.
    You can also go to Coconut Tree Hill, which is one of the most photogenic sites in the area. Nuwara Eliya is where you will spend the night.
    You can also join a whale watching excursion, which is available at an additional cost on the beach.

    Check out of your accommodation in Bentota after a nice breakfast and go to Colombo.

    When you arrive in Colombo, check into your hotel, complete the necessary paperwork, and freshen yourself.

    Prepare to discover Colombo City by first wandering through the Colombo Fort. From there, you may stroll to Beira Lake and see the popular Lovers Island and the beautiful suspension bridge.

    Allow yourself to be charmed by the architectural marvel’s extraordinary colour patterns, which will take your breath away.

    The floating market Pettah can be seen on your walk to the World Trade Building and the Parliament Building.

    Wander around the tallest structure in South Asia, “The Lotus Tower,” where you may have a walk, sample the eateries, and go shopping.
    Seek blessings at the Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple in Colombo, which combines modern architecture with cultural significance.
