    Day 1

    Arrive Bagdogra – Transfer To Phuentsholing

    Our local Sahapathika representative will pick you up from Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station and drive you to Phuentsholing, an unique region on the planet.
    The town of Phuentsholing serves as the entry point for road tourists into Bhutan. Phuenthsoling, a booming commercial centre on the northern end of the Indian lowlands (West Bengal), is located immediately at the Himalayan foothills.

    In the evening, if time allows, go to Zangtho Pelri, a modest temple in the city centre that portrays Guru Rinpoche’s heaven.
    In Phuentsholing, spend the night in a hotel. (At 300 metres above sea level).

    Day 2

    Phuentsholing – Thimphu(180km,)
    After breakfast, set out on an exciting drive to Thimphu, stopping along the way to see Kharbandi Gompa, a stunning monastery that was founded in 1967.
    Continue driving, pausing for shots at Gedu University along the way. After a short tea break near Chukha, continue your drive through Chimakothi, a little town near Chukha, and halt at Chuzom, the confluence of the Paro and Thimphu rivers.
    Check into the hotel when you arrive in Thimphu. Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital and centre of government, religion, and trade, is a one-of-a-kind city with an intriguing blend of modern development and ancient traditions. With a population of roughly 1,00,000 people, it is maybe the world’s only capital city without a traffic light.

    Day 3

    Thimphu Sightseeing

    Begin your day with a visit to the National Library, Thimphu National Museum, School of Arts and Crafts, Handicrafts & Textile Museum, Handmade Paper Factory, Simtokha Dzong, National Flag Hoisting, and Tashichho Dzong after breakfast.
    Keep your eyes out for the Memorial Chorten, a lovely white building dedicated to world peace. When you stand at the Buddha point, you’ll see a thousand Buddhas residing in one Buddha. Changlimithang Monasteries, Takin Zoo, BBS Tower, and Thimphu Dzong round out the itinerary. (Viewpoint). Thimphu is where you will spend the night.

    Day 4

    Thimphu To Punakha Wangdue ( 75 Km, 2 Hrs)

    After breakfast, drive 2 hours from Thimphu to Punakha, Bhutan’s former capital. Visit DochuLa Pass, a stunning memorial surrounded by 108 stupas.
    The Druk Wangyal Lhakhang is an hour’s walk away. Take a trip to the Punakha Dzong, Bhutan’s second-oldest and second-largest Dzong.
    The Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, Chimi Lhakhang monasteries, and Wangdue Phodrang are also worth seeing. Punakha is where you will spend the night.

    Day 5

    Punakha To Paro ( 115 Km, 4 Hrs)

    After breakfast, descend through the wild highlands to the Paro Valley.
    As you sneak out the window to see the wonderful vista on the trip to Paro, feel the fresh air on your face.
    Take a break from the four-hour drive to look around and just take a breather.
    When you arrive, sample some of Bhutan’s best cuisines.
    Paro is where you’ll spend the night.

    Day 6

    Paro Local Exploring

    After breakfast, visit Kyichu Lhakhang Monastery, also known as Lho Kichu Temple, a historically significant temple that dates back to the 7th century and is one of the country’s oldest temples.
    Visit the Paro Museum to learn about Bhutan’s cultural past.
    Make your way to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery perspective, and don’t miss the Cafeteria’s deserts.
    The Drukgyal Dzong, a centuries-old fortress, is a sight to behold.
    Paro is where you’ll spend the night.

    Day 7

    Paro – Phuentsholing ( 142km, 4hrs)

    Return to Phuentsholing after breakfast. Tschogang Lhakhang, “the shrine of the excellent horse,” is a short drive from Paro town on the left. It is a private temple that was established in the 15th century after a visit by Balaha, the excellent horse, a manifestation of Chenrezig, the compassionate Buddha.
    Check into the hotel in Phuentsholing around late afternoon.
    Evening free in Phuentsholing or explore Jaigaon (West Bengal), which is just across the Bhutan border.

    Day 8

    Phuentsholing – Njp/ Bagdogra Drop Time For Fresh Start ( 142km, 3hrs 30 Min)

    Check out of the hotel after having breakfast.
    Leave Phuentsholing in the direction of Bagdogra Airport [IXB]/Railway Station [NJP]. The 8-day senior citizen Bhutan tour has come to an end.
